Silva's Research

Jose began his investigations into parapsychology and mind control in 1944 in Laredo, Texas. A man with no formal education, he began to work with his own children to see if he could raise their IQ levels so that they would do better at school. After twenty-eight years of research and experimentation he developed the Silva Mind Control Method and taught the first formal class in Amarillo, Texas, in 1966. The Method has met with worldwide acclaim.

Silva's first accomplishments

Jose already knew that the mind generates electricity - he had read about experiments that revealed the Alpha rhythm early in this century. And he knew from his work in electronics that the ideal circuit is the one with the least resistance, or impedance, because it makes the greatest use of its electrical energy. Would the brain work more effectively too if its impedance were lowered? And can its impedance be lowered?
